Emotionally Focused Therapy
I enjoy working with couples, individuals and families using EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), a therapy that processes and helps couples, individuals and families with understanding how their emotions impact their relationships. Because most relational problems are fueled by emotions, I work with my clients helping them to identify their primary/deeper and secondary/surface emotions that affect their relationships. In helping relationships identify their patterns of interacting (negative dance), I can then assist them with changing their negative dance. When the negative dance is changed into a positive dance, relationships can flow and connection/intimacy can appear.
